I do not write this lightly when I say that both myself and my boyfriend had an incredible experience at IroncoreK9. Our 1.5 year old Belgian Malinois came in with house manner issues, a bit of walking issues, and small things that we wanted to work on. In the past, we have been told that he was going to be unable to walk completely off-leash at any point during his life and that he was considered a “wild child”. When we met Dan, he gave us the encouragement and support we needed to ensure that our dog would be able to accomplish any training that we wanted to. Dan was assertive and gave incredible feedback throughout the 4 weeks. He was available 24/7 and anytime we had questions he would answer promptly. Our dog is walking like a new dog now, the tools Dan gave us eliminated the house manner issues that he has had for over a year and both myself and my boyfriend feel confident handling our dog now. Dans way of teaching was directed towards US and not our dog, he knew how intelligent our dog was off the bat knew we as owners lacked the experience to use them on him. It has been about 2 months since we saw Dan and our dog continues to get better and better.
I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody on all ranges of the spectrum, whether their dog is aggressive or needs a bit of guidance, this is the place to go! We were in the private ~4 week training with Dan specifically, and we are still so happy we did it.
I truly do not have one bad thing to say about this place - as long as you are accountable to yourself you will be soooo happy with the results.

In November 2022 I adopted a 5 1/2 year-old rescue German Shepherd dog. He had no training, no leash experience, and minimal socialization— leading to reactivity to other dogs. I worked with Dan to train Knox. Dan really knows his stuff. He cares about his clients. He is proactive in his approach to dog training. He has high expectations for you as an owner. He expects you to be consistent and to practice what you learn with him when you are at home. But I can guarantee that if you put effort into training your dog, Dan will put 110% of his own effort into helping you train your dog. I went from having a dog that slipped off his collar when I first adopted him and ran away to having a dog that is working on off leash skills. If you are willing to put the time and energy into training your dog, then I highly recommend that you check out Dan to get you where you want to go

You will be evaluated and put into a course that best fits your needs
Take Course
Once you are set into a course, you will gain the experience needed to gain the control of your dog and be assigned homework for accountability
